PageUp People Limited is seeking an Administration Officer – Emergency Department Reliever to support two 24/7 Emergency Departments across Lyell McEwin Hospital and Modbury Hospital in Adelaide. This ongoing part-time role (26.25 hours per week) reports to the NALHN ED Office Manager and provides frontline administration for efficient patient care.

Working across two 24 hour 7 days a week Emergency Departments, including after-hours, weekends and public holidays, and reporting to the NALHN Emergency Department (ED) Office Manager, you will provide high-quality frontline administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the Emergency Department and the delivery of exceptional patient care. The administration team that keeps these departments running is just as important as the clinicians on the floor. As an Administration Officer – ED Reliever, you'll provide essential front‑line administrative support across the Emergency Department, stepping into relief coverage across a variety of shifts. Your responsibilities will include:
In this role you will have strong interpersonal and communication skills which will enable you to successfully problem solve, resolve conflicts and negotiate, including the ability to engage in difficult conversations, whilst building and maintaining relationships. An ability to effectively manage multiple, diverse and competing priorities and demonstrated resilience within a stressful and complex environment is essential to this role.
