Job summary

Halcyon Knights is seeking a Project Manager to lead end-to-end residential development projects in Adelaide. You will oversee planning, design and delivery, coordinating with architects, planners, engineers and government partners to achieve scope, quality and budget targets.

The role requires strong commercial acumen, excellent communication, and robust stakeholder engagement across government and community groups.

Qualifications

• Experience managing residential development projects through planning, design and delivery.
• Experience managing end-to-end projects including budgets, procurement, contracts and commercial risk.
• Strong stakeholder engagement with government, community and industry partners.
• Experience with government projects, urban renewal or residential development is ideal.
• Strong commercial and finance acumen.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Degree in property development, urban planning, project management, construction management, or similar.

About the company:

Our client is a large government employer in South Australia, and they are looking for a project manager to join their development team for a residential housing project. The requirement is to commence ASAP, on a short term 3-month temporary casual basis.

About the role:

• Development management - lead end to end delivery of residential developments from project inception to completion
• Design and planning leadership - manage teams including architects, planners, engineers, surveyors and specialist advisors
• Procurement and contract management - manage procurement processes, prepare documentation, reports and briefings
• Stakeholders and partnership management - establish and maintain relationships at all levels internally, and externally including government entities, industry and community stakeholders
• Construction and delivery oversight - monitor activities to ensure projects achieve scope, quality, program and budget outcomes
• Strategic contribution - provide specialist development advice to support the project delivery

About you:

• You will have experience managing residential development projects through planning, design and delivery phases
• You will have experience managing project from end to end including budgets, procurement processes, contracts and commercial risk
• You will have strong stakeholder engagement experience, and previous experience working with a number of community and government organisations
• You will ideally have experience working with government projects, urban renewal or residential development
• You will have strong commercial and finance acumen
• You will have excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
• You will have strong problem-solving skills
• Qualifications - ideally, you will be degree qualified in property development, urban planning, project management, construction management, or similar.
