Job summary

Mitcham Girls High School is seeking an outstanding educational leader to guide teaching and learning across Drama, Visual Art, Design, Dance and Music, plus leadership of the Special Entry Dance Program from Year 7. The role focuses on strategic curriculum leadership, teacher capability, and collaboration to strengthen high-quality teaching, learning, assessment and enrichment from Years 7–12.

High-level knowledge of the South Australian Curriculum and SACE Thrive.
Evidence-informed pedagogical approaches to develop students' disciplinary knowledge and agency.
Ability to lead curriculum improvement through coaching, mentoring and professional learning.
Commitment to fostering an inclusive, collaborative and high-expectations culture.
Strengthen the Arts profile through authentic learning, performances and partnerships.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic curriculum leadership across the Arts.
Build teacher capability and collaborate to strengthen teaching, learning, assessment and enrichment from Years 7-12.
Lead curriculum and pedagogical improvement through coaching, mentoring and professional learning.
Use evidence to evaluate impact and drive continuous improvement.
