Qualifications

• Proven experience as a pizza chef.
• Strong knowledge of traditional pizza-making techniques and authentic ingredients.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining pizza ovens and other equipment.
• Excellent understanding of food safety, hygiene standards.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak service times.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
• Passion for quality food preparation and culinary excellence.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods.
• Relevant food handling qualifications or ability to obtain them.
• Ideally experience with Italian cuisine or Mediterranean cooking.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings and public holidays.

Responsabilités

• Preparing and cooking pizzas to order using traditional techniques and premium ingredients.
• Maintaining the pizza ovens and associated cooking equipment in optimal working condition.
• Following established recipes and plating standards to ensure consistency across all dishes.
• Managing food preparation, including dough preparation, sauce making, and ingredient portioning.
• Working efficiently during peak service periods whilst maintaining high quality standards.
• Monitoring food quality and implementing proper food handling and hygiene protocols.
• Collaborating with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely food delivery.
