Job summary

Coniston Bakery in NSW is seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to join their team in Coniston and Unanderra. The role is a permanent full-time position with responsibilities spanning dough preparation, dough shaping, processing times and maintaining quality across production.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience, a relevant patisserie qualification, and certifications in food handling and RSA.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Patisserie or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in relevant field.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• OH&S awareness.
• Food handling and RSA certificates.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, mixing, cutting and shaping dough and pastry ingredients.
• Monitor proving, cooking and cooling times, and ensuring appearances of items are consistent.
• Various baking techniques and methods.
• Weighing ingredients and keeping track of production schedule.
• Stock management and ordering.
• Cleaning and equipment upkeep adhering to sanitation and safety regulations.
