Job summary

Bakers Delight Junction Fair is seeking an experienced Baker for a full-time role in The Junction, NSW. You will produce artisan breads while upholding Bakers Delight's quality standards and food safety practices.

The position offers AUD 80,000 per year plus superannuation, with ongoing training and career development within the Bakers Delight network. Applicants with at least one year of experience and a baking certificate are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of full-time baking experience
• Certificate III in Baking or equivalent is highly regarded
• Experience in a commercial bakery
• Bread production techniques knowledge
• Ability to work early morning shifts
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products
• Ability to work independently and in a team

Responsibilities

• Prepare, mix, knead, ferment and bake a variety of breads and bakery products.
• Measure and prepare ingredients in accordance with production recipes.
• Monitor dough quality throughout the production process.
• Operate commercial bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all products meet Bakers Delight quality standards.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Monitor stock levels and minimise product waste.
• Work collaboratively with the bakery team to meet daily production requirements.
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining bakery equipment and work areas.
