Evergreen Garden Care and Searles Garden Products are seeking an Area Manager for Sydney South, extending to the South Coast and ACT. You will drive category growth, manage promotions, and train retailers while ensuring strong CRM record-keeping and brand visibility across your territory.

You will lead merchandising and sales execution, travel regularly, and report to the Sales Team. A robust automotive allowance and performance bonus are included.

Qualificações

• Experience in field sales and merchandising within FMCG, Hardware or Garden industries.
• Ability to develop strong customer relationships and train store staff.
• Ability to analyse sales data and present to groups.
• Full driver's license with clean history and willingness to travel regularly.

As the new Area Manager- Sydney South, for Evergreen Gardencare and Searles Garden Products, you will manage a key territory spanning Sydney South, the South Coast and the ACT. You will build strong relationships with TTHG (Mitre 10) and independent garden retailers while driving category growth through exceptional customer service, merchandising excellence, and instore training. In this role, you will support store level execution of promotions, maintain accurate CRM records, and help maximise brand visibility and sales across your territory.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Maintain regular territory call cycle & high merchandising standards
• Build and enhance strong business relationships with current and new customers
• Conduct in-store product training sessions
• Manage budgets and KPl's including managing store stock holdings
• Assist in executing Head Office arranged promotions at store level and gain maximum exposure for brands via off location displays.
• Participate in trade expo and consumer garden shows as required
• Maintain and measure accurate customer records in the CRM system

To succeed in this role, you will ideally bring:

• You will understand our retail customers and be keen to further grow your career in the sales force
• Ideally, you have experience in field sales and merchandising with experience servicing in the FMCG, Hardware and/or Garden industry
• Discipline and motivation to work autonomously, with the ability to prioritise your workload
• You have excellent presentation and communication skills and can present to small groups
• You have strong attention to detail and able to analyse sales data
• You have sound computer skills and are proficient with Microsoft Office
• You possess a full vehicle driver's licence with an excellent driving history
• Ability to travel on a regular basis
