Job summary

Ventia is hiring an Area Manager to oversee safe, on-time delivery of telecom infrastructure projects across NSW and ACT. Based in Arndell Park with hybrid arrangements, you will manage budgets, coordinate site activities and drive stakeholder engagement to meet quality and safety standards.

You'll lead multiple projects, build client relationships and ensure contractual compliance while advancing your career within a large national services group.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading telecommunications or electrical infrastructure projects.
• Electrical Licence and current driver's licence.
• White Card and project-management credentials are highly regarded.
• Ability to travel occasionally across regional NSW.
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of multiple telecommunications construction projects and programs.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts and KPIs to ensure performance.
• Coordinate site activities, audits, inspections and QA processes.
• Build relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with safety, contractual and quality requirements.
• Monitor progress, reporting and logistics across the project lifecycle.

About the role

As the Area Manager, you'll oversee the safe and successful delivery of telecommunications infrastructure projects across NSW and ACT, ensuring quality outcomes, strong stakeholder engagement and commercial performance. Additionally, you'll:

• Lead the delivery of multiple telecommunications construction projects and programs
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, KPIs and overall project performance
• Coordinate site activities, audits, inspections and quality assurance processes
• Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with safety, contractual and quality requirements
• Monitor project progress, reporting, logistics and delivery outcomes across the project lifecycle

About you

• Proven experience leading telecommunications, electrical infrastructure (telepower, UPS & BESS highly regarded) or critical infrastructure projects
• Electrical Licence and current driver's licence
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills
• Demonstrated experience managing project risks, compliance and delivery outcomes
• Ability to travel occasionally throughout regional NSW to support project activities
• White Card, with project management qualifications highly regarded
