Qualifications

• AQF Associate Degree or higher qualification (or three years relevant experience substituted).
• One year of architectural draftsperson work experience, or three years with relevant experience in lieu of formal qualifications.
• Operational knowledge of Foundation, Bored and CFA Piling.
• Experience with PLAXIS 2D, WALLAP and AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in English and strong written/verbal communication.
• Commitment to health and safety best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead project development through schematic design to detailed construction documentation.
• Prepare preliminary drafts and sketches with drawings and specifications.
• Interpret plans, regulations, and building codes of practice.
• Support construction and operations managers and coordinate with architects and surveyors.
• Advise on construction methods and materials with engineers and quantity surveyors.
• Coordinate project plans with managers and site civil engineers; revise project plans and maps.
• Ensure design docs meet NSW codes and AS 1100 standards; inspect documents for compliance.
• Prepare project programs and estimate time scales; collect data with instruments and photogrammetry.
