Job summary

Calool Constructions Pty Ltd in Artarmon NSW is seeking an experienced Architectural Draftsperson to join our Sydney team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will prepare and update architectural drawings and construction documentation, collaborating with project managers, supervisors, and other stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has strong AutoCAD skills, Revit is highly desirable, and a solid ability to read and interpret drawings while complying with Australian standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Architectural Draftsperson or similar role.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit experience is highly desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings.
• Good understanding of Australian construction practices and documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Proactive attitude and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural drawings, plans, elevations, sections and construction details.
• Modify and update drawings according to project requirements and site conditions.
• Prepare construction and as-built drawings.
• Coordinate drawings with structural and engineering documentation.
• Maintain drawing registers and revisions.
• Assist with site measurements and documentation when required.
• Ensure drawings comply with relevant Australian Standards and project requirements.
• Provide regular updates to the supervisor and project team.
