North Sydney Council is seeking an experienced Urban Forest Supervisor to lead the trees team, delivering tree maintenance and canopy programs across our local government area. You will provide specialist arboricultural advice and oversee contractors to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The role requires strong leadership, project management, safety focus and excellent stakeholder engagement to support a greener, more sustainable North Sydney community.

Qualifications

• Experience as an arboriculture professional with leading teams.
• Strong people management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to manage projects and external contractors with safety in mind.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of tree maintenance and management programs.
• Oversee contractors and projects for urban forest initiatives.
• Manage tree-related requests and development applications.
• Contribute to the Urban Forest Strategy and Street Tree Strategy.
