Job summary

Randstad Pty in Western Sydney is seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant/Accountant with an Accounts Receivable focus for a 3-month temporary assignment. Onsite parking and a 1-day-per-week work-from-home arrangement are available; payroll exposure is a bonus and can be taught.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will manage AR duties and support payroll-related tasks as needed. Ideal candidates will hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Accounting & Finance or equivalent, have AR experience,

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Accounting & Finance/equivalent qualification or relevant work experience.
• Proven experience in a similar Accounts Receivable role.
• Payroll experience is a bonus.
• Experience with large ERP systems like Navision, SAP or similar.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Debtors collections: proactively managing and following up on outstanding accounts to ensure cash flow.
• Debtors posting and payment reviews: posting receipts and reviewing debtor accounts.
• Intercompany allocations & reporting: preparing and reporting on intercompany charges and journal entries.
• Month-end duties and group reporting on a monthly/quarterly basis.
• Assist with payroll adjustments and liaising with payroll vendor implementation.
