Job summary

HR Partners is seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant/Accountant with an Accounts Receivable focus for a 3-month temporary role in Western Sydney. You will manage timely debt collection and AR tasks, with optional payroll cross-checking that can be taught. Onsite parking is provided and you can work one day from home after ramping up.

You will work independently in a hands-on finance environment, contributing to month-end tasks and process improvements as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience as Assistant Accountant/Accountant with AR focus.

Job description

As a well established organisation, my client is looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant/Accountant (Accounts Receivable focus) to join their team for a 3 months temporary position and subject to extension. If the candidate has experience with some Payroll tasks - that will be an added bonus. The role is to be based in their Western Sydney office. Onsite parking is provided alongside 1 day work from home - once up to speed and able to work independently.

This is a vital, hands-on role where you will ensure timely and accurate collection of outstanding debts which is the accounts receivable function alongside some other areas of finance when required. Payroll experience will be a bonus as only need to manage some element of the fortnightly payroll (which has been outsourced) which is mainly just crosschecking and ensuring adjustments are correct - this can be taught by the manager.
