Job summary

US Tech Solutions is seeking a contingent Audio Render Tuning Engineer to support an AR glasses audio program. The role focuses on render-path DSP tuning of the speaker system using an embedded audio processing framework and MATLAB-based tuning tools.

You will work hands-on in the lab with the Research Audio team to deliver a tuned, shipping-quality speaker experience, including careful equalization, dynamic range control, and profile management across use cases.

Qualifications

• Hands-on DSP tuning for speaker-type devices.
• Understanding of equalization, dynamic range compression, and limiting.

Responsibilities

• Render DSP tuning for AR glasses speaker system using embedded DSP framework.
• Design and apply equalization filters; tune compression and limiter parameters.
• Measure baseline performance and collect frequency response and distortion data.
• Generate, validate tuning profiles for firmware deployment.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, algorithms, and research teams.
• Maintain tuning documentation and test reports.
