Aquatic Facilities Maintenance Officer
We are seeking an experienced and proactiveAquatic Facilities Maintenance Officerto join our Leisure and Recreation Team and support the safe, reliable and compliant operation of Council's aquatic facilities. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for aquatic plant operations, water quality management, facility presentation, preventative maintenance and minor repairs. You will play an important role in ensuring our facilities remain safe, clean, welcoming and well maintained for our community. The position is primarily based at theStawell Sports and Aquatic Centre (SSAC)and provides seasonal operational support to theSt Arnaud Outdoor Pool.
As the Aquatic Facilities Maintenance Officer, you will:
We are looking for someone who is practical, reliable and proactive, with a strong understanding of facility maintenance and aquatic operations.
You will ideally have:
Relevant qualifications, licences, certificates or experience in aquatic operations, pool plant management, water treatment, maintenance, plumbing, electrical, mechanical or a related trade will be highly regarded.
This is an opportunity to play a key role in maintaining important community facilities and supporting the delivery of safe, high-quality aquatic and recreation services.
You will work collaboratively across theLeisure and Recreation TeamandBuilding Maintenance Team, helping Council protect and maintain its aquatic assets through proactive maintenance, effective communication and continuous improvement.
