Help keep our community pools safe, staffed and running smoothly this season. Council is seeking two casual Aquatic Facilities Duty Supervisors to share this role during pool operating periods, with one employee working approximately 4-5 days per week and the other working approximately 2-3 days per week. This is a practical, hands-on role focused on rostering, active lifeguarding, staff support, bookings, operational records, water testing, customer service and day-to-day operational decisions.
We are looking for two reliable and organised people to support the safe day-to-day operation of Council’s aquatic facilities during the pool season. These roles would suit people with strong communication skills, practical judgement and the confidence to support casual pool staff, manage rosters and bookings, complete water testing, and respond to customer and operational issues as they arise.

The hourly salary rate for these roles will be $43.2689 per hour, inclusive of a 25% casual loading. The casual loading compensates for the lack of certain entitlements that casual employees do not receive, such as paid leave, public holidays, notice of termination and redundancy pay. The successful applicants will also be required to hold or obtain required aquatic industry qualifications, including Pool Lifeguard, First Aid and CPR, and Working with Vulnerable People registration before commencement.
