Job summary

Goulburn Mulwaree Council is seeking an Aquatic Centre Manager to lead the Goulburn Aquatic and Leisure Centre’s operations, delivering safe, high quality aquatic services and outstanding customer experiences. Job description

The Goulburn Aquatic and Leisure Centre (GALC) features a range of facilities for competitive swimming, leisure, general community use and major regional events, including a 50-metre outdoor swimming pool, an 25-metre indoor swimming pool, program pool, warm water pool, splash pad and gymnasium.

YOUR ROLE

Lead the operations of one of the region's premier community facilities and make a positive impact on the health, wellbeing and recreation of the Goulburn Mulwaree community.

As Aquatic Centre Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and day-to-day operation of the Goulburn Aquatic and Leisure Centre, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality aquatic services, programs and customer experiences.

This leadership role oversees aquatic operations, staff development, facility performance, compliance, risk management and financial outcomes, while fostering a positive, customer-focused culture and driving continuous improvement across the Centre.

YOUR WORKING ENVIRONMENT (for eligible employees)

• An annual salary between $119,618 - $134,625 dependent upon skills and experience, inclusive of 12% superannuation
• Work an open spread of hours including weekend and public holiday work, based on a 38-hour week.
• Flexible and hybrid working arrangements under Council's Flex First Procedure including access to an individualised hour agreement
