Job summary

DFP Recruitment has partnered with a large Federal Government Agency to recruit experienced APS6 Planners for the Safeguarding Advisory Team in Adelaide. The role focuses on analytical work, stakeholder engagement and advisory support to safeguarding outcomes within a regulatory environment.

The successful candidate will assess complex information, provide evidence-based advice, and engage with stakeholders to support risk management and policy implementation.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with ability to assess complex information, identify risks and provide well-reasoned advice.
• Excellent written communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Sound judgement within legislative frameworks and delivering quality outcomes in fast-paced environments.
• Experience in safeguarding, risk, compliance, policy, regulatory or government settings.

Responsibilities

• Assess complex and sensitive information to identify safeguarding concerns and risks.
• Analyse information and prepare evidence-based advice, recommendations and reports.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather information, provide guidance and support outcomes.
• Exercise sound judgement when making recommendations within legislative, policy and procedural frameworks.
• Manage a varied workload and competing priorities while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Support the delivery of participant safeguarding outcomes through effective risk assessment and advisory practices.
