HOBAN Recruitment is seeking an APS6 Finance Coordinator – External Budgets & Capital in Canberra. You will lead external budget processes, provide NPP costings advice, and coordinate PBS/PAES with capital budgeting support within a collaborative team.

Applicants should have a degree in Accounting/Commerce/Business and CA/CPA qualifications or equivalent finance experience; CBMS and MS Office skills are essential. Role based in Canberra CBD, with 65.20 per hour plus 12% super.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Business or related discipline.
• CA or CPA qualifications, completed or underway.
• Experience in external budgeting, financial planning or budget management.
• Understanding of Australian Government financial framework.

Responsibilities

• Lead external and capital budget processes and maintain budget data in CBMS.
• Provide advice on NPP costings and financial justifications.
• Coordinate PBS/PAES and Capital Management Plans.
• Prepare financial briefs, ministerial submissions and Senate Estimates docs.
• Improve budgeting systems and deliver stakeholder training.

Education

Accounting/Commerce/Business degree
