Job summary

The Australian Energy Regulator (AER) is seeking a Recruitment and Onboarding Administrator to support back-office recruitment and onboarding functions across the APS. You will apply knowledge of recruitment processes, the APS framework, and best-practice methods.

Working with stakeholders across the AER and APS, you will manage job advertisements, online applications, offers and onboarding, while helping to improve processes and guidance.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of recruitment processes and APS employment framework.
• Experience delivering client-centered recruitment solutions.
• Proven ability to use modern recruitment systems and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support managers to document role requirements.
• Advertise employment opportunities and manage postings.
• Administer the online recruitment system.
• Liaise with APS agencies to facilitate merit lists.
• Prepare online application forms.
• Update applicants on outcomes of their applications.
• Prepare and release employment offers.
• Facilitate onboarding of new starters and internal moves.
• Manage the organisation structure in the HR system.
• Advise applicants and managers on APS processes and systems.
• Draft standard operating procedures and recruitment guides.
• Contribute to changes and improvements in recruitment services.
