Job summary

Anton Murray Consulting is seeking a Regulatory Reporting Specialist to join our client’s Finance & Administration team in Sydney. You will manage APRA/ABS/RBA reporting, month-end close tasks, reconciliations, and data governance initiatives to ensure accuracy and on-time submissions.

You will drive automation of reporting processes, assess regulatory changes, and coordinate with technology for system enhancements, while maintaining robust documentation and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accounting or equivalent tertiary qualification and CA/CPA designation.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in accounting and regulatory reporting, preferably in banking.
• Experience with regulatory reporting systems and knowledge of APRA, ABS, RBA is advantageous.
• Experience with Axiom is highly regarded.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of Word.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and supervise end-to-end APRA/ABS/RBA reporting.
• Act as primary contact for regulatory bodies and stakeholders.
• Monitor regulatory changes and advise on data gaps and system changes.
• Own the regulatory reporting system and document issues.
• Lead data governance initiatives including data lineage and quality controls.
• Identify, design and implement automation to reduce manual work.
