Job summary

CQUniversity Mackay Ooralea is seeking a TAFE Partnerships Adviser to support students and employers in apprenticeship programs. You will manage industry placement needs, training and assessment records, and related reporting to ensure compliance with legislative obligations and strong engagement between the University and industry.

The role requires excellent stakeholder relations, customer-focused service, and proficiency with information systems and CRM tools.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of a range of industry issues and training processes relevant to vocational and post-compulsory education.
• Highly developed interpersonal skills including communication, negotiation and consultation with a customer focus.
• Experience providing support for employers, apprentices and/or trainees in the workplace.
• Knowledge of information systems, web browsers, email software and CRM systems to achieve outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide supportive service to students and employers associated with apprenticeship and traineeship programs.
• Maintain records of industry placement needs, training and assessment programs, and reporting documentation.
• Ensure legislative obligations are met and reporting is accurate.
• Help students stay on track while strengthening engagement between the University and industry.
