Job summary

TAFE Queensland is seeking a Schools Partnership Mentor to bridge TAFE Queensland SkillsTech and partner schools. This role ensures training delivered under Third Party Agreements meets quality and regulatory standards and supports educator development.

Based primarily at Acacia Ridge with potential work at other TAFE Queensland campuses, the position reports to the TAFE at School Manager. It is a permanent, part-time 29 hours per week (0.8 FTE).

Qualifications

• Knowledge of vocational training and assessment frameworks.
• Ability to mentor third party educators.
• Experience coordinating with schools and external partners.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance in VET environments.

Responsibilities

• Promote SkillsTech values and partner with schools under Third Party Agreements.
• Coordinate pre-enrolment information, enrolment, and training records with Third Party and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with Third Party Agreements, Training and Assessment Strategy, and related regulatory requirements.
• Maintain contact with Third Party and provide quarterly monitoring reports.
• Support professional development and currency for Third Party educators through mentoring and supervision.
• Assist with auditing and verification of assessment outcomes and student progression.
