About the role
As a Sunshine Sugar Apprentice Boilermaker, you will receive structured on-the-job training and support from experienced tradespeople to help you develop the skills and knowledge required to become a qualified Boilermaker.
You will learn to produce fabricated metal products such as structures, frames, plate assemblies, pipework and vessels using fabrication techniques, welding processes and thermal cutting equipment. You will also learn to use a wide range of hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment including drills, grinders, benders and lifting equipment.
Upon completion, you will receive a nationally recognised trade Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication. Sunshine Sugar provides a structured process with workplace-based training, supported by attendance at a local TAFE one day per week.

The successful candidate will be required to complete aptitude testing & a pre-employment medical including hearing test, alcohol & drug screening.
