Job summary

CMV Truck & Bus Shepparton offers an intensive four-year apprenticeship program leading to a Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology. You will learn to diagnose, overhaul, inspect and test a wide range of trucks and buses, gain experience with diesel engines and electrical systems, and work in a modern workshop with state-of-the-art diagnostic tools.

Successful applicants should have completed year 11, hold a valid driver’s license, and show a strong mechanical aptitude

• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
• Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
• Interest in automotive industry and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Learn to diagnose, overhaul, inspect and test trucks and buses.
• Operate with CMV workshop tools and diagnostic equipment under supervision.
• Contribute to workshop tasks and training activities as part of the apprenticeship program.
