Job summary

Teys Australia in Tamworth, NSW, is offering an Apprenticeship Fitter role. You will support maintenance across production systems, including pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical work and welding. The program includes attending TAFE blocks from February 2027 to achieve a Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade).

Qualifications

Year 12 schooling or equivalent required.
Q-Fever vaccination or willingness to get.
Excellent communication and technical skills required.
Be a team player, organised and punctual for shifts.

Responsibilities

Support maintenance of production systems and machines.
Perform pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical maintenance and repairs.
Weld/solder as required and operate power tools.
Work across Kill Floor, Boning Room, Render plant and chillers.
Attend TAFE blocks Feb 2027 to complete Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade.
