Job summary

Berendsen Fluid Power Australia is seeking an Apprentice Fitter & Machinist for the Neerabup Cylinder SupaCentre, starting December/January. You'll rotate across local branches and learn machining, honing, welding, grinding, sandblasting, painting, and hard chrome plating as part of a comprehensive apprenticeship.

You’ll be mentored through the Elevate Apprenticeship Program with structured learning at the Elevate Academy and a national network supporting your growth into a qualified

Qualifications

• Reading technical drawings and schematics.
• Comfortable with maths and hands-on work.
• Careful and precise—accuracy matters in this trade.

Responsibilities

• Work with senior fitters and machinists on hydraulic cylinder repair and rebuild.
• Learn to read technical drawings and schematics.
• Assist with inspection, disassembly, and reassembly of hydraulic cylinders.
• Gain exposure to hard chrome plating and surface finishing processes.
