• Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Commitment to health and safety practices in the workplace.
• Valid driver's licence is desirable.
• Previous experience in a workshop or trade environment is advantageous but not essential.

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Apprentice Fitter Machinist to join our team at our Gunnedah facility on a full-time basis. This is an exceptional opportunity to commence a structured apprenticeship program in fitting and machining, working alongside experienced tradespeople in a professional engineering environment. As an apprentice, you will develop practical skills across a range of fitting and machining operations whilst contributing to the delivery of quality engineering solutions for our clients. This role will provide you with a comprehensive foundation in the trade, combining hands‑on experience with formal training to prepare you for a successful career in engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Assist experienced trades with the assembly, installation, maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment and machinery
