Job summary

Queensland Government's Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service invites applications for an indentured apprenticeship within Building, Engineering and Maintenance Services. The role supports planning, construction, operation and maintenance of facilities and engineering systems across Cairns and Hinterland sites.

In this role you will follow safety procedures, complete the apprenticeship course, assist tradespersons, and liaise professionally with staff and patients while contributing

• Assist Tradespersons in all aspects of their work to maximise learning experiences.
• Maintain confidentiality of hospital information (patients/staff and general information).

• Participate in learning activities and contribute to maintenance tasks as directed.
