Job summary

Mindil Beach Casino Resort in Darwin is seeking an Apprentice Electronic Gaming Technician to join the team. You will enrol in a four-year apprenticeship to complete Certificate III in Electronics and Communications, gaining hands-on training in gaming installation, maintenance and repair.

Under supervision you will perform bench-level repairs, assist with installations, and ensure compliance with operational standards.

What you will do?

• Enrol in a 4 year apprenticeship to complete Certificate III in Electronics and Communications
• Undertake training in all aspects of gaming installation, maintenance, and repair
• Under supervision, perform bench-level repairs on electronic gaming modules using test equipment, including slot machines, Keno terminals, and related components
• Under supervision, complete the installation and relocation of gaming equipment, ensuring compliance with operational standards
• Provide quick responses to equipment failures or malfunctions
• Maintain accurate equipment logs and technician records, ensuring all service requirements are tracked

• Committed to undertaking and completing a four-year apprenticeship while working full-time hours
• Successfully completed Year 12 (Secondary Education)
• Strong commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment
• Demonstrated initiative and responsibility for own learning and development
• Hold a current full C-class driver’s licence, with the ability to travel independently to Keno venues across Darwin and the Northern Territory
