Job summary

Maxwell Recruitment and Training is offering an Apprentice Electrician position in the Newcastle region, inviting applicants to commence their apprenticeship with an established Newcastle business.

You will gain hands-on experience across solar, battery storage and general electrical work while learning from experienced tradespeople, with above award pay rates and pathways for career progression.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in the Electrical Trade.
• Must hold a current driver’s licence.
• Minimum Year 10 completion or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist with residential and commercial solar installations.
• Install solar panels and associated equipment.
• Run and secure AC and DC electrical cabling.
• Assist with inverter, battery and switchboard installations.
• Assist with testing, maintenance and fault finding.
• Work across Newcastle, the Central Coast and Hunter Valley.
• Follow all safety procedures and electrical requirements.
