Job summary

Sunstainable Pty Ltd is a leading solar retailer and installation company based in Melbourne. We are seeking a 1st Year Electrical Apprentice to join our growing team and gain hands-on experience under the supervision of qualified electricians.

You will be involved in solar installations, small electrical tasks in residential properties, and benefit from mentoring and support to develop practical skills and a well-rounded apprenticeship experience.

Qualifications

• Must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights.
• Completed Certificate II in Electrotechnology pre-apprenticeship is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and genuine interest in electrical industry required.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience under supervision with qualified electricians.
• Assist with solar installations and general electrical tasks on residential projects.

Sunstainable is leading solar retailer and installation company that has been operating since 2010. We install solar power systems, battery storage and EV charging units in residential, commercial and small industrial properties.

Renewable Energy is a growing and exciting industry that is enjoying constant growth and a bright future as we transition to a fully electric future.

We have a position available for a 1st Year Electrical Apprentice to join our grow team.

We specialise in all solar installations, but our work also takes in general electrical work in existing residential properties and new builds giving you a well-rounded skill base for your apprenticeship.

Working with qualified and skilled electricians, you will gain valuable hands-on experience, mentoring and support.

To be successful you will need to have the following:

Must have:

• Committed to being a contributing Team Member
• Basic knowledge of hand tools
• Genuine interest in electrical industry
• High level of attention to detail
• Physically fit and capable
• Reliable and hardworking

Preferred but not essential:

• Completed Certificate II in Electrotechnology pre-apprenticeship
• Experience in the field
• Own tools
• A white card
