Job summary

Teys Australia has an exciting opportunity as an Apprentice Electrician to join the Maintenance team at our Beenleigh processing site in Queensland. You will be a full-time employee from day one, earning a wage + super with occasional overtime, penalty rates and other great benefits!

Requirements include a keen interest in becoming a trade-qualified electrician, Q-Fever vaccination (or willingness to get it), two references, and strong communication and technical skills.

About the Role

Teys Australia has an exciting opportunity as an ApprenticeElectrician to join the Maintenance team based at our Beenleigh processing sitein Queensland.

The rolewillbe responsible for:

• Keeninterest in becoming a trade qualified electrician: If you have already startedyour first year, that is okay with us!
• Q-Fevervaccinated (or willing to get)
• Twoprofessional references
• Excellentcommunication and technical skills
• Beorganised and committed, and turn up for your shift on time, every time
• Besafe and act responsibly, safety is everyone’s responsibility includingyou
• Be ateam player and willing to help others get the job done

The Application Process

• Aftersubmitting your application, it will be reviewed by the Human ResourceManager. They will contact you to discuss your application beforeorganising an interview.
• Oncepast the interview stage, we will need to conduct both an aptitude andphysical assessment which will help us to assess if you are physicallyfit for the job requirements, at this stage, we will also conduct a drugand alcohol test.
• Finally,we will conduct a Q-Fever vaccination process and you will move on tobeing inducted into Teys.
