Job summary

Teys Australia is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician for our Tamworth processing site in New South Wales. You will fault-find on meat processing machines, perform planned, preventative and reactive maintenance, and help identify bottlenecks to keep production running smoothly.

Your role requires strong instrumentation knowledge, circuit diagram interpretation, and hands-on PLC/VSD fault-finding skills. Desirable experience includes switchboard wiring and PLC/HMI programming.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of instrumentation and control systems.
• Excellent communications and technical skills.
• Ability to develop circuit drawings and read circuit drawings.
• Fault finding experience with VSDs & PLCs.
• Switchboard building experience (desirable).
• PLC and HMI programming experience (desirable).

About the Role

Teys Australia is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join the Maintenance team based at our Tamworth processing site in New South Wales. The rolewill be responsible for:

• Fault finding intricate meat processing machines
• Carry out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance
• Assist in the identification and elimination of bottle necks
• Respond efficiently to breakdown conditions to minimise equipment/production downtime

About You

You must have the following experience/skills:

• Knowledge of Instrumentation
• Excellent communications and technical skills
• Ability to develop circuit drawings and read circuit drawings
• Fault finding experience with VSDs & PLCs
• Switchboard building experience (desirable)
• PLC and HMI programming experience (desirable)
