Job summary

Buon Appetit in Camden is seeking a 1st, 2nd or 3rd Year Apprentice Chef to learn in a busy, hands-on environment. You will work alongside experienced chefs in a fast-paced kitchen, gaining practical training across all sections and authentic Italian cooking techniques, including handmade pasta and wood-fired pizza.

We value enthusiasm, reliability and a genuine interest in food. This apprenticeship offers valuable hands-on experience, exposure to high-volume service, and the chance to progress

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic about food and eager to learn and develop cooking skills.
• Available to work evenings and weekends as part of apprenticeship.
• No prior kitchen experience required for 1st Year Apprenticeship, attitude and reliability are key.

Responsibilities

• Assist chefs with daily food preparation and cooking.
• Learn recipes, kitchen procedures and techniques.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area and follow safety procedures.
• Assist with plating and service during busy periods.
• Support when required across kitchen sections.
