MRAEL is seeking an eager Apprentice Chef to join the team at Bateau Bay Hotel in New South Wales. This apprenticeship offers a nationally recognised qualification (Certificate III in Commercial Cookery) and a full-time wage while you learn.

You will train under qualified chefs in a bustling commercial kitchen, learning food preparation, cooking techniques and presentation. Benefits include full uniform, a tool kit, mentoring and the chance to gain experience at multiple host venues.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, cooking and serving of dishes.
• Operate kitchen equipment under supervision (mixers, choppers, fryers, steamers).
• Learn knife techniques and various cooking methods.
• Clean, maintain and store kitchen equipment properly.
