Job summary

Boathouse Group is seeking an Apprentice Chef for Manly Pavilion, a full-time role where you’ll learn the fundamentals of cooking from a hands-on, expert-led team. You’ll work alongside the Executive Chef and a small brigade, gaining exposure to premium seasonal produce, live-fire cooking, and scratch baking every service.

You’ll receive genuine mentorship, real technical upskilling, structured trade-qualification support, and clear career pathways within the Boathouse Group’s coastal venues.

Qualifications

• Starting out or early in trade qualification.
• Genuine passion for produce and cooking.
• Willingness to work hard and maintain high standards.

Responsibilities

• Learn fundamentals under the guidance of the Executive Chef.
• Gain hands-on exposure to premium seasonal produce, live-fire cookery, and scratch baking.
• Work as part of a tight, fast-paced brigade during every service.
