Job summary

NEPEAN Conveyors invites motivated applicants to join a fixed-term apprenticeship in Unanderra, NSW. The intake focuses on becoming a Boilermaker Fitter, combining hands-on shop work with structured learning over up to four years.

You will learn to read drawings, mark out components, cut and shape metal, and assist with fitting and assembling conveyor components, while developing welding and fabrication skills under qualified tradespeople.

Qualifications

• Year 12 completion required.
• Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade is highly regarded.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn in a busy workshop.

Responsibilities

• Read drawings, mark out components, measure and cut to spec.
• Fabrication, welding and fitting alongside qualified tradespeople.
• Assist with fitting and assembling conveyor components and equipment.
• Maintain safety and quality in workshop operations.
