NEPEAN Conveyors invites motivated applicants to join a fixed-term apprenticeship in Unanderra, NSW. The intake focuses on becoming a Boilermaker Fitter, combining hands-on shop work with structured learning over up to four years.

You will learn to read drawings, mark out components, cut and shape metal, and assist with fitting and assembling conveyor components, while developing welding and fabrication skills under qualified tradespeople.

Formación

• Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade is highly regarded.

Are you mechanically minded, enjoy hands-on work and ready to learn a trade? NEPEAN Conveyors is inviting motivated applicants to join our 2027 Apprentice Boilermaker Fitter intake in Unanderra, NSW.

About the opportunity

This fixed-term apprenticeship runs for up to four years, combining hands-on workshop experience with structured learning. You’ll develop skills in fabrication, welding, measuring, fitting and assembly while working towards a trade qualification and a career as a Boilermaker Fitter.

You’ll learn to read drawings, mark out components, cut and shape metal, and assist with fitting and assembling conveyor components and equipment. Along the way, you’ll build confidence using welding equipment and hand and power tools, with safety, accuracy and quality at the centre of your work.

What you’ll learn

• How to read drawings, technical specifications and job requirements.
• How to measure, mark out, cut, shape and assemble metal components.
• How to use welding equipment and fabrication techniques to meet quality requirements.
• Boilermaking, fabrication, fitting and assembly practices used on conveyor components and equipment.
