Job summary
NEPEAN Conveyors in Unanderra, NSW invites motivated individuals to join the 2027 Apprentice Boilermaker Fitter intake. This fixed-term apprenticeship runs for up to four years, combining hands-on workshop experience with structured learning to build a foundation for your trade career.
You’ll learn to read drawings, mark out components, cut and shape metal, and assist with fitting and assembling conveyor components.
Qualifications
- Completion of Year 12 is required.
- Applicants currently studying or interested in a Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade will be highly regarded.
- Apprenticeship combines hands-on workshop experience with structured learning to develop boilermaker fitting skills.
Responsibilities
- Read drawings, mark out components, cut and shape metal.
- Assist with fitting and assembling conveyor components and equipment.

Learn from experienced tradespeople, work with real equipment and develop practical skills in boilermaking, fabrication and fitting to build a foundation for your trade career.
This fixed-term apprenticeship runs for up to four years, combining hands‑on workshop experience with structured learning. You’ll develop skills in fabrication, welding, measuring, fitting and assembly while working towards a trade qualification and a career as a Boilermaker Fitter.
You’ll learn to read drawings, mark out components, cut and shape metal, and assist with fitting and assembling conveyor components and equipment. Along the way, you’ll build confidence using welding equipment and hand and power tools, with safety, accuracy and quality at the centre of your work.
