Bakers Delight BALLARAT CITY is seeking an Apprentice Baker to join our team. The role involves working in a bakery environment with early shifts starting from 2am, providing quality baked goods and friendly service.

You will learn on the job, develop baking skills, contribute to stock and production costs, and thrive in a team-focused, fast-paced setting across a seven-day rotating roster.

Qualifications

• Passion for baking.
• Willing to enter into an apprenticeship or have completed prior learning modules.
• Morning person with 2am shift availability.
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a team.
• Prepared to work hard.
• Available to work a 7 day rotating roster.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Bakers Delight is Australia's leading bakery franchise, with a vast network of bakeries in many communities across the country. We have an opportunity available for an Apprentice Baker to join our team at Bakers Delight BALLARAT CITY. Apprentice Bakers work in a bakery environment, with some shifts commencing from 2am.

Key responsibilities

• Baking and presenting quality product to meet changing customer needs
• Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the bakery
• Providing delightful customer service when required
• Assisting with stock control and production expenses

About you

• Have a passion for baking
• Be willing to enter into an apprenticeship, or demonstrate successful completion of prior learning modules, if already undertaking an apprenticeship
• Be a morning person with availability for shifts commencing from 2am
• Have a positive attitude, love working in a team environment and learning new skills
• Be prepared to work hard
• Be available to work a 7 day rotating roster
• Have basic literacy and numeracy skills
• Be an Australian Citizen or a Permanent Resident
