Job summary

Inspiration Trees Pty Ltd in Myocum, NSW, seeks an apprentice arborist to join our outdoors-focused team. You will learn on the job, earn an award-rate wage, and complete your Certificate III in Arboriculture under experienced mentors.

Responsibilities

• Learn arboriculture craft: health/structure/risk assessment.
• Practice climbing and rigging with safety as a priority.
• Pruning, removal, and cutting of trees.
• Maintain and care for equipment.
• Learn tree biology and identification.

The Opportunity

Work outdoors with experienced arborists who care about doing it right. You'll earn while you learn, complete your Certificate III in Arboriculture, and become part of a crew that's known for professional excellence and real integrity.

This isn't a gig. It's the start of something solid.

• Earn from day one (award rate + increases as you develop)
• Full Certificate III training included
• Work on diverse projects: residential, commercial, utility work
• Genuine pathway to become a specialist climber, EWP operator, ground member or team leader with specialist mentors and support all the way
• Monday - Friday full-time permanent role

What You’ll Do

You'll learn the full craft of arboriculture:

• Tree assessment: reading health, structure, and risk
• Climbing and rigging techniques (safety first, always)
• Tree pruning, removal, and cutting
• Equipment maintenance and care
• Tree biology and identification
• Soil health: mulching, fertilising, pest management
• Safety protocols and industry standards
• Working as part of a professional, supportive team
