Job summary

Hester Hornbrook Academy in Geelong seeks a qualified educator to join our HOPE-based program. You will deliver an applied learning curriculum within VPC or VCE VM, working in a multidisciplinary team to support students' learning and wellbeing.

You will contribute to planning, assessment, and reporting, maintain records in the Student Management System and LMS, and uphold Child Safe Standards and risk management requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Education or related discipline and a current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration (provisional or full).
• Current full Victorian driver's licence.
• Applicants must have full working rights in Australia.
• TAE qualifications for teaching VETiS programs is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a multidisciplinary classroom team to deliver HOPE-based learning.
• Develop and implement an applied learning curriculum for VPC or VCE VM.
• Maintain accurate records in the Student Management System and LMS, including wellbeing notes and reports.
• Plan and participate in extra-curricular activities, events, excursions and camps.
• Ensure all Child Safe, risk management and documentation requirements are adhered to.
