Job summary

Hester Hornbrook Academy in Werribee is seeking an Education Support Officer to deliver tailored literacy and numeracy support within a multidisciplinary team. Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Education Support or relevant experience
• Current Working with Children Check
• Experience supporting diverse learners and working in trauma-informed settings
• Experience with LGBTQI+ youth and diverse cultural backgrounds

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a multidisciplinary classroom team to develop and maintain a face-to-face and virtual learning environment
• Provide individual or group assistance to students in literacy and numeracy
• Ensure programs align with Hester Hornbrook Academy’s framework and maintain student confidentiality and dignity
• Use data to inform practice and funding through NCCD, recording interventions and learning plans
• Apply HOPE principles to support engagement, equity, and prosocial behaviours
