Job summary

Aurec is seeking an AI Engineer to configure, test, and deliver AI agents, automations, and enterprise AI solutions for a Federal Government program in Canberra. You will work hands-on across discovery, prototyping, testing, deployment and handover using the Microsoft stack.

You will collaborate with business and technical teams, ensure security and governance guardrails, and support operations after go-live.

Qualifications

• Experience configuring and testing AI agents and automation within enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Configure, build, test, and support AI agents, automations, and workflows using approved designs and Microsoft technologies.
• Drive technical delivery across discovery, prototyping, testing, deployment, and operational support under senior leads.
• Implement configurations and integrations across Microsoft services with security and governance guardrails.
• Troubleshoot routine issues and escalate complex problems appropriately.
• Collaborate with business and tech teams to clarify requirements and maintain documentation.
