Job summary

Uniting AgeWell is seeking an Applications Trainer to develop and deliver engaging end-user training across Residential Care applications. You will support core clinical systems and create user-focused training materials, including videos and eLearning, to drive system adoption.

Collaborating with the Digital PMO and Applications teams, you will design sessions, provide first-level support, and assist with system upgrades and documentation to ensure high-quality training across the organisation.

Qualifications

  • Prior design, delivery and assessment of both face-to-face and online training.
  • Extensive experience in systems training, including clinical systems.
  • Experience in Aged Care / Health Care sectors.
  • Developing learning materials and digital training (videos & eLearning).
  • Strong stakeholder management across business levels.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver end-user training and education across Residential Care applications.
  • Provide first level support to system users.
  • Design and facilitate engaging training sessions to enhance user capability and adoption.
  • Support the implementation and optimisation of clinical applications within Residential Aged Care.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation (QRGs, FAQs, User Guides, videos).
  • Assist with project work such as software upgrades or implementations.

About the role:

As an Applications Trainer, you will develop and deliver engaging, user-focused training for end users across a portfolio of Residential Care applications. Provide expert support and education for core clinical systems, including AlayaCare (Residential), MediMap, Pixalere, and other associated platforms.

In this role, you will:

  • Work closely with the Digital PMO Team, Applications Team, App Training Team, and Subject Matter Experts to develop clear, concise and high quality end user documentation and training materials and effective delivery of end user training
  • First level support to Uniting AgeWell system users as required
  • Designing and facilitating training sessions to enhance user capability and system adoption
  • Supporting the implementation and optimisation of clinical applications within Residential Aged Care environments
  • Play a key role in supporting the users during times of system upgrades and/or enhancements with the preparation and maintenance of application documentation e.g. QRGs, FAQs, User Guides, videos and answering training related queries
  • Assist with any project work, typically software upgrades or implementations

  • Extensive experience in systems training, including clinical systems
  • Experience and understanding of the Aged Care / Health Care sectors
  • Experience in developing and implementing best practice clinical applications learning material (developing user documentation, training materials including digital training – videos & eLearning)
  • Excellent stakeholder management and the ability to build and manage relationships at all levels of the business
