Job summary

Infinite Care seeks an Application Custodian to oversee all company-used applications, from research and procurement to installation, configuration, monitoring and maintenance.

Reporting to the Head of Application Support, you will manage security groups, documentation, end-user training and cybersecurity practices, while collaborating across the ICT team to drive reliable, secure software for resident care.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in application management and cybersecurity within a clinical environment, ideally aged care.
• Vendor engagement and service delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the management of security groups and permissions for all applications to ensure secure access control.
• Develop and maintain documentation for all applications, including user guides and technical manuals.
• Provide training to the ICT team for level 1 support and end-user training to promote adoption.
• Manage cybersecurity aspects related to applications and ensure best practices are followed.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to resolve complex issues and drive IT projects.
• Identify recurring issues and propose solutions to prevent incidents and improve processes.
• Provide remote assistance to off-site or remote users to ensure consistent support.

At Infinite Care we are seeking another Application Custodian to join our already amazing team.

Reporting to our Head of Application Support, the Application Custodian will be responsible for overseeing all company-used applications - research, procure, install, configure, monitor, and maintain software applications. Ensure applications are functional, secure, and meet organisational needs. This role ensures the effective management of security groups, permissions, and documentation of all of our applications. The Application Custodian will also develop documentation and user guides, provide training to the ICT team for level 1 support, and offer end-user training to promote user adoption. Additionally, they will manage cybersecurity related to applications, ensuring best practices are met, and assist with application interoperability.

This role is full time and remote or hybrid opportunities may be available for the right candidate.

The key responsibilities for this role are, but not limited to:

• Oversee the management of security groups and permissions for all applications to ensure secure and efficient access control.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all applications, including user guides and technical manuals.
• Provide training to the IT team for level 1 support and offer end-user training to promote user adoption and effective use of applications.
• Manage cybersecurity aspects related to applications, ensuring that all security protocols and best practices are followed.
• Collaborate with other IT team members and departments to resolve complex technical issues, share knowledge, and implement IT projects and improvements.
• Identify recurring issues and propose solutions to prevent future incidents. Contribute to the improvement of IT processes and procedures to enhance overall service delivery.
• Provide remote assistance to off-site or remote users, ensuring consistent and efficient support regardless of the user's location.

• Qualifications: A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience with any of the following applications would be highly regarded: Clinical Manager, Resident Manager, BestMed, CarePage, iChris (Frontier), TechnologyOne, Humanforce WFM, Atlassian (Jira/JSM), DocuSign, Ausmed, Simple Food, Zipline, and Microsoft 365/Entra ID.
• You have: Proven experience in application management and cyber security within a clinical environment, ideally aged care and demonstrated experience with vendor engagement and service delivery.
