Job summary

HRM Contracting and consulting – Cairns QLD is seeking a Trainer – Individual Support to deliver accredited training and assessment, ensuring compliance with national training standards and the RTO framework.

You will work with students, employers and community stakeholders to provide flexible, engaging learning that leads to successful course completion and employment outcomes in aged care and disability sectors.

About the Role

As a Trainer – Individual Support, you will be responsible for delivering accredited training and assessment programs while ensuring compliance with national training standards and the RTO framework. You'll work closely with students, employers and community stakeholders to provide flexible, engaging learning experiences that support successful course completion and employment outcomes.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to program development, continuous improvement initiatives, and the ongoing success of learners within the aged care and disability sectors.

To be Successful, You Will Have:

• TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or Diploma or higher in Adult Education).
• Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or Disability.
• Experience delivering training and assessment within the Individual Support sector.
• Current industry experience in aged care and/or disability support.
• Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A commitment to continuous improvement and delivering outstanding learner outcomes.

Mandatory Requirements

• Current Working with Children Check (or equivalent).
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Current unrestricted Australian Driver Licence.
• Current Right to Work in Australia.
• Ability to meet vaccination requirements where applicable.
