Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking an Applications Analyst to join the IT Applications team in Richmond on a hybrid basis. You will own incidents and service requests, help deploy changes and work with vendors and users to resolve issues across enterprise applications.

You will build skills in Microsoft 365, the Power Platform and integration technologies while supporting healthcare systems. A hands-on role with varied projects offers growth and impact across Mercy Health’s services.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting clinical and enterprise business applications, including level 2 and level 3 incident and problem resolution in a service management environment.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a methodical approach and ownership from report to resolution.
• Experience delivering application changes, enhancements or small projects end to end, including analysis, testing and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver small to medium changes, enhancements and projects from analysis through deployment.

About the opportunity

At Mercy Health, you will become part of a proud history built on over 100 years of expertise, skill and care. As an Applications Analyst, you will use your technical problem solving skills and your experience supporting enterprise business applications to help achieve even more for all who need us.

Reporting to the Manager, Application Service Delivery, you will join a small and close knit IT Applications team based in Richmond, supporting the systems that keep our hospitals, aged care homes and corporate services running. You will be the technical contact for an assigned group of business applications, taking ownership of incidents and service requests, and working directly with business users and vendors to get things resolved.

This is a hands on role with genuine variety. Alongside day to day support you will deliver small to medium changes, enhancements and projects from analysis through to deployment, and contribute to larger application and integration initiatives.

You will work alongside our application and integration analysts, with real scope to build your skills across Microsoft 365, the Power Platform, integration technologies and healthcare systems.

To thrive in this role, you will have:

• Experience supporting clinical and enterprise business applications, including level 2 and level 3 incident and problem resolution in a service management environment.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, a methodical approach, and a genuine sense of ownership from first report through to resolution.
• Experience delivering application changes, enhancements or small projects end to end, including analysis, testing and deployment.
• Confidence working directly with vendors and with business users, and the ability to explain technical concepts in plain language.
• Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL. Exposure to Microsoft 365, the Power Platform or integration technologies will be highly regarded.
• Excellent time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt, problem solve and manage competing priorities.
• A compassionate, flexible and positive approach, and a genuine interest in helping others.
