Job summary

Genesis Recruitment Solutions is looking for an Applications Implementation Specialist to join a healthcare IT environment, supporting patient and business applications. The role is hands-on, combining implementation, support, testing and troubleshooting, with engagement of business stakeholders, vendors and end users.

You will work in a 24/7 distributed setting, contributing to testing, data migration and training, and helping implement upgrades and new releases across the patient

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience with Patient Administration Systems.
• Experience with application testing and implementation.
• Experience supporting applications within a healthcare environment.
• Strong stakeholder communication and training skills.
• Ability to work in a geographically distributed, 24/7 environment.

Responsibilities

• Support and troubleshoot patient and business applications.
• Manage incidents, requests and application issues within SLAs.
• Test new software releases, fixes and upgrades.
• Support application installations, configuration and implementations.
• Maintain application test scripts and documentation.
• Support data migration and validate data during system cutovers.
• Work with software vendors to troubleshoot and escalate issues.
• Provide application training and support to end users.
• Assist with operational, financial and management reporting.
• Support ongoing configuration and improvement of Patient Administration Systems.

Applications Implementation Specialist | Healthcare ITPermanent | Penrith/South Sydney/Hybrid| Up to $150,000pkg | We are looking for an experienced Applications Implementation Specialist to join a healthcare environment supporting and delivering critical patient and business applications.

This is a hands-on position combining application implementation, support, testing and troubleshooting, with the opportunity to work closely with business stakeholders, software vendors and end users.

The Role You will be responsible for:

• Supporting and troubleshooting patient and business applications
• Managing incidents, requests and application issues within agreed SLAs
• Testing new software releases, fixes and application upgrades
• Supporting application installations, configuration and implementations
• Maintaining application test scripts and documentation
• Supporting data migration and validating data during system cutovers
• Working with software vendors to troubleshoot and ESCALATE issues
• Providing application training and support to end users
• Assisting with operational, financial and management reporting
• Supporting the ongoing configuration and improvement of Patient Administration Systems

About You We’re looking for someone with:

• 5+ years’ experience working with Patient Administration Systems
• Strong application troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience with application testing and implementation
• Experience supporting applications within a healthcare environment
• Strong stakeholder communication skills
• Experience delivering training to end users
• Ability to work within a geographically distributed, 24/7 environment
